The Final Farewell

Lost the long entry i have wrote on the light of my final farewell to grandfather. So this is what the lost entry contains.. only shorten.

Firstly, even though its only the 2nd day after the funeral, i think grandfather would want us to continue our lives. So after this entry i will continue updating the blog on soccer news and so on.

The funeral was painful as expected, watching my family drowning their sorrows, my grandmother losing control of her emotions, my last glance of my grandfather and watching the coffin going to cremate. I plead with God to spare my family another day like this anytime soon. I really cant take anymore.

On sunday, i’ll attend a Christian service ( my grandparents’s and half of my family’s religion”, it would continue giving me a new light of the religion. Though i’ll still stick to mine.

Anyone who knows me, shoul noe that i am not a relgious person, but these are the few values that i believe:

1. I believe in God
2. I do not believe in naming him in every thought, in every sentence, in every medium. He Knows, i know, that is sufficient.
3. I believe in Karma, the bigger the mistake, though longer but it will be a larger impact.
4. I believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason,we all have a path.

I would like to extend my gratefulness to :

My paternal family: thanks for attending my maternal grandparents funeral. It was a really sweet gesture and i really do appreciate it. Sry for not socialsing much.

My Classmates: Thanks for all the concern and understanding of my absense in project work. In particular, MEL for the hug, Wei Ling for her concern, Shernel for her openess of her heart. Thanks to Pau for her concern, understanding and tolerating my *abnormal* behaviour. Thanks to Winston, Peok and Gris for their constant understanding, and GRIS for her well wishes! And i really do appreciate the rest of the condolences. And of course those who who do not know what has happen, thanks for bringing me smiles and laughter EVERY DAY.

NURUL: Thanks thanks thanks, i know i should reply in another platform, but since i’m here. =) I love you babes, thanks for being there for me. *hugs* and Kisses* and i miss you.

* this will be the last entry i will talk about god*

RIP Ah Gong,
God Bless Ah Gong,
Wo Ai Ni

its been ages since i blog, blame it on the loads of projects and ______________
Sometimes i wonder is this all worth it, do i really want a high paying job, the desk job. Cant i find something that i can take it day by day. A free and easy life? Is that so wrong to look for? I guess it is just tough to find it in Singapore!

I have to get my degree no matter what though, i realise recently beside my parents harbouring on it but my paternal grandma too. She says it is her dream to see her grandchildren or children to get a degree. Thats why I LOVE LOVE her so much, her dream isnt abt me getting married!!! Thank GOD!=) But the funny thing is after she told my dad this, and my dad was like ” Wait a min, i got a degree, 8 years AGO!!” He had it in the States, and 8 years later she yet to look at the pictures. At last, my dad proudly showed her last weekend, she is definitely proud of my dad, but haiz a little too late dad!! haha, its up to me now.

Anyways i wanted to blog on torres first training, his first match, and just all his pix in the liverpool colours… i know its old news, but how can i have not put those pix on my blog!

Finan, Torres and AGGER!

Training at Switzerland, home place for Sende!

FT on the bike, i must be part of the training however i cant find any pictures of the rest of the liv gang. =(

Dont you miss him!

Theres has been alot of positive things said abt him, alot of hopes and expectations on him. Honestly, i have no idea about his abilities let alone to say if its good or not. But i trust Rafa, anyways its better to have less expectation, so if he disappoints hit would hurt less, and if he prove his place in liverpool, i love being surprised.

Now for my fav young player of Liv,

I looking forward for a wonderful season for Agger, he was fantastic last season. Cant wait for the next, he’ll wont disappoint.

Why do i feel that he wont disappoint coz, his pre-season efforts was going prettty well. Yesterday, against Bremen he scored another goal. It was his goal and the opening goal by Stevie G, that they
wont the Swiss side.

Stevie score the Opening Goal

Agger Heads in the 2nd Goal

Another Fernando in Red, hope it wont be as short lived as the other.
Does Red suit him? Lets wait till his first few matches in the EPL.

Signed Sealed Delivered

Ok, he look queer here (yes i do mean what you are thinking)

Both looks of these gentlemens are not going for them, need of getting used to

So, the first Liverpool interview of torres is out!!! and the stuff he said abt liverpool is like so true, esp about the fans commitment to liverpool. AND did you know he grew up supporting Liverpool?!! All his mates has ynwa tats to mark their friendship but he couldnt so he had “ynwa” sewn into his ath.madrid arm band…….. awww… how sweet. He is a true red.

The long awaited interview,

You’ve just put pen to paper Fernando, how does it feel?

I am very, very happy. This was the biggest decision of my footballing life but I’ve come to a winning club. This is a club of champions – one of the biggest there is. I now want to play my part in that and be a champion too and help the club progress.

How much do you know about Liverpool Football Club?

Obviously growing up in Spain you are aware of all the big clubs there, but you also keep an eye on Europe, and Liverpool always catches the eye. It always did for me. I had older brothers who’d tell me about the likes of Keegan and Rush, but the first players I remember seeing as a fan are players like Robbie Fowler. My main memory is seeing Liverpool’s incredible record in Europe, and I certainly followed that closely.

When did you first hear of Liverpool’s interest in you?

It was just a couple of weeks ago, it’s all happened very quickly. I was aware of offers from other clubs but as soon as I knew Liverpool were interested I said to Atletico: “Look, please listen to this offer.” There were many clubs being banded around. Offers go directly to Atletico, so I wouldn’t necessarily know about them, but as soon as I heard about Liverpool, I told them that Anfield was the only place I was interested in.

Why did Liverpool stand out for you?

I’m aware of the history and how special this club is. The tragedies that have happened have made the bond between the fans and the club so strong. Liverpool just ticks all the boxes for me. There’s team spirit and a desire to win instilled by Rafa, and then there’s my new teammates like Pepe and Xabi. They, as well as Luis, have always spoken very positively about life here in Liverpool. I didn’t speak to them directly before signing because it all happened so quickly. I’ve been getting planes here, there and everywhere. My other half has spoken to Pepe’s other half though. She said: “We’re here for you. Let us know if there is anything you need.”

Tell me about the captain’s armband you displayed during a game against Real Sociedad last season, with You’ll Never Walk Alone written on the inside?

There is a group of my mates, about five or six of us, and we’ve all grown up supporting Liverpool. Because they are all so committed to Liverpool, they’ve had We’ll Never Walk Alone tattooed on their arms. It’s changed slightly because it’s a symbol of our friendship as well as our support for the club. Obviously I couldn’t have that tattooed on my arm playing for Atletico, but they gave me this armband as a present for my last birthday.

Why have you decided to leave Atletico now?

The time is right because Liverpool have come in for me.

Was it a difficult decision to make?

You have certain chances in life. You can’t afford to miss them because they only come around once. I’ve been with Atletico since I was 10, I’ve grown up as a person and a player there. But we haven’t been getting the opportunities to play in Europe and I think I now need to take that step up.

How big a factor was Rafa Benitez in your decision to come to Merseyside?

The first time I spoke to him, I was convinced. Just to know Rafa has confidence in me and trusts me is massive. I feel honoured because Liverpool are such a big club, they could have signed anyone. I am very pleased they have chosen me!

What do you know about the fans here in Liverpool, and how much are you looking forward to playing in front of the Kop?

I’ve spoken to many people about it and watched many DVDs, but you can’t possibly know what it feels like to play at Anfield until you have experienced it. I am dying to play in front of the Kop.

Have you set yourself a goals target for your first season?

Not really, but I suppose the first target is to beat what I got in Spain. My average there was 15.

Finally, what message would you like to send to Liverpool fans?

I just want to say thank-you, because from today, day one, people have been trying to meet me at Melwood. I’ve also seen some at the airport. They all seem to be behind me, so I want to say thank-you very much.

LOve LOve LOve him him….

Welcome to LFC Mate, welcome to the red family!

You’ll Never Walk Alone!

Farewell Luis Garica

ok so it’s not 100% confirmed, but it been said that fernando torres will be coming over to liverpool nxt week, cutting short his hols, to seal the deal. SO i knew this since last night, and the one person who i told was another liverpool buddy Faizal, like me he is overmoon abt the transfer.

Ok so i said $83mil (€27 mil) but its reduced to €23mil, where the €4 mil go?? To the transfer of garcia, well my facts of this was last night. Plus torres will coming over with a lower pay than he had before, even though he wanted €100,000, he settled for €90,000 on par with carra and alonso.

Today’s garica deal with alth. Madrid has been CONFIRMED!!! =( and soccernet stated that there wasnt any diclosed figures to the deal (3 yr).

This is the guy that plays a pivtol role to our sucess on lifting up the trophy in instanbul…. always thought he will stay for some time, esp when he really fitted right in. Haiz, i’ll miss this fellow and his thumbsucking!
